Achieve a weekly / monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of sales meetings and new accounts.
Achieve an annual set of Revenue Targets.
Maintain responsibility of selected key accounts.
Be proactive with locating new business through the appropriate media/channels
Work with Director of Sales and Marketing to train new / existing members of the Sales department.
Negotiate effectively in order to achieve an overall high .
Proactively drive revenue and secure business.
Ensure efficient administration of the department is taking place to support all sales activities.
Optimize room utilization by assessing the demand and supply for accommodation.
Manage special projects under the direction of Director of Sales & Marketing.
Attending external functions/by invitations.
- At least 2 – 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry.
- Has been in a similar role in an upscale hotel or serviced apartment/residence for a minimum of 2 years
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Driven and independent.
- Literacy in travel and operating software applications.
- Diploma in Hotel Management or its equivalent.
- Experience in pre-opening is an advantage.
